Gail Sparks-Riegel holds a degree from the School of Hospitality Business at Michigan

State University, marking the commencement of her professional journey within the

hospitality industry. Her initial tenure was with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, where she

gained valuable experience.

Subsequently, Gail transitioned to Smith, Bucklin and Associates, where she engaged

in orchestrating a diverse array of nationwide events. These included conventions,

conferences, board meetings, off-site functions, and VIP events, showcasing her

versatility and adeptness in event management.

 

Gail's career trajectory led her to the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), renowned

for producing the prestigious International CES in Las Vegas. With attendance figures

exceeding 130,000 individuals and featuring 2700 exhibitors across a sprawling 1.8 million

net square feet of exhibits, CES stands as a premier global technology event.

 

During her tenure at CTA, Gail assumed a pivotal role in overseeing show logistics at prominent venues such as the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Las Vegas Hilton. Her responsibilities encompassed liaising with numerous exhibitors, authoring the CES exhibitor manual, pioneering an innovative online registration tool for exhibitor-appointed contractors, orchestrating the annual CES Exhibitor Workshop, and various other integral tasks.
